He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Pittman Hilliard and Willie K. Hilliard; and his grandson-in-law Lewis Swain. He is survived by: his wife Grace Hilliard; his children, Robyn DeVane (Randy), Evonne Ivey (John) and Tony McCranie; his sister Sheila Anderson (Roy); his grandchildren, Caroline Swain, Landon DeVane (Jes) and Gracie Brandt (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Harper Tarpley, Madilyn Swain, Eli Brandt and Nora DeVane; and his nephew Robert Laster.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to The Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes, 3000 Hwy 42 N, McDonough, Ga 30253.
