It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Stephen Scopp of Richmond Hill, Georgia, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Howard Albert Scopp. He is survived by: his wife Sara (Schnake); his children, John Scopp (Jeannine) of Clearwater, FL and Tara Harper (Gavin) of Richmond Hill, GA; his granddaughters, Megan, Isabella and Charlotte; and his mother Dolores Scopp (Hoffman).
