We announce the death of Harold Eugene Howell of Richmond Hill, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Harold will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Howell and Arlie Howell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Howell; his children, Eric Howell (Kelly) and Kimberly Vallejos; his grandchildren, Timothy (Natasha), Christina and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Kylie and Killian; and his siblings, Billy, Bobby, Hazel and Max (Elaine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project, charities that were important to Joe.
