He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Hendley; and his daughter Sherrie Hendley. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Tucker; his daughter Teresa Slater (Matt); his grandchildren, James Edward Hendley III (Briana), Katie Almand (Tyler) and Benjamin Sikes (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Addie, John Morgan, Kalder, Ellington and Koast.
In lieu of flowers the family would suggest making a donation to one of the following organizations in which Jimmy was passionate about: St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, Marine Rescue Squadron of Richmond Hill, or the Masonic Children's Hospital.
