He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Gibbs Talley and Earl Talley; and his brother Robert Talley. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Talley; his children, Michael Talley and Morgan Miller (Nathan); his grandchildren, FayeLynn Talley and Elias Miller; his sister Elaine Taylor (David); his siblings-in-law, Melinda Talley, Rich Brannan (Julie) and Carol Sue Brannan; and his extended family, Evanne Floyd, Christy Mears Bargeron (Jerry), Richard Hanner (Myra), Alan Powell (Debbie), John Kasmark (Dixie) and Ron Vandegrift (Holly).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home (8901 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers or The Waterfront Church, or that you simply do something meaningful in Jeff's memory—hug someone you love, share a meal, or take a trip.
