He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Corrigan and Helen Corrigan of Melfa, Virginia.; and his stepson Gisli. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Steindor; his daughter-in-law Marica; his granddaughter Brynja; his former spouse Gudfinna Gisladottir of Reykjavik, Iceland; his stepson Victor; his brother Sean (Barbara); his niece Katherine; his nephew Daniel; and his sister Mary (Beth Steckley).
