He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Harris Peters and Inez; and his stepfather Elder. He is survived by: his wife Dorethea Peters; his sons, David Michael Peters, Patrick Lee Peters (Angela), Nicholas Bruce Peters and Daniel Jared (Angel); and his siblings, Ethel Lois Simmons, James Gibbs, Ed Elder and Charles Elder. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill (9184 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (9184 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324).
