It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Elizabeth Garrard of Richmond Hill, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her sons, Wade A. Mixon (Frieda) and Brian A. Mixon (Sandra); her grandchildren, Brooke McNair (Luke), Tristan W. Mixon (Bethany) and Chase A. Mixon (Autumn); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Emmons, Maeve and Alfred; her stepchildren, Lamar Garrard (Ruth), Pamela Chartrand (Bob) and Wanda K. Garrard; and her siblings, Bob Story (Janet) and Glenda Wortham.
