He was predeceased by: his father Gerald John Sardonia; and his brother Mark Sardonia. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sardonia; his mother Marguerite Sardonia; his siblings, Dan Sardonia (Melissa), Jim Sardonia (Katherine), Laura Marshall (Carlos) and Rosemarie Jones; his sister-in-law Melanie Sardonia; his children, Kristen Wheelock (Steve) and Matthew Steger (Katarina); his grandchildren, Zander Schmer-Lalama, William Smith Baiad, Ethan Wheelock, Oliver Steger and Penelope Steger; and his nieces and nephews, Katie Greer Sardonia, Marisa Sardonia, Mitchell Sardonia, Nathan Sardonia, Ryan Sardonia, Anthony Aparicio, Alexis Sardonia and Sophie Sardonia.
