He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Barnes and Martha Elizabeth Cawthon Barnes; and his sister Yvonne Garfield. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Hodges Barnes; his daughters, Julie Ann Pratka (Paul) and Kimberly Joyce Barnes; his granddaughter Jennifer Hogg (Jeff); his great grandchild Jessica Hogg; and his niece Arlene Kicklighter (David).
