He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbra Richard "Dick" Clanton and Geneva "Mildrene" Clanton (Bowring); his brother Richard Gene Clanton; and his nephew Shane Clanton. He is survived by: his brother Tony Lane Clanton of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and his sister-in-law Jennifer Clanton (Daring) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
