She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Sylvester Mons and Susie Sparks Mons; her husband Grady Brooks Fordham; her son Rhonnie Brooks Fordham; and her siblings, Mary Faye Miller (Tom) and Leo Mons (Frances).
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Fordham (Peggy), Steven Fordham (Laura) and Tammy Wilkins (Jason); and her grandchildren, Tabitha Lewis (Brent), Kenneth Grubbs (Sherri), Tonya Brice, Tracy Barrow, Carol Nelms (Chris), Holly Brown, Caitlin Atkinson (Chris), Rhonnie Fordham, Ryan Wilkins (Abby) and Steven Fordham (Sydnie). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
