It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Montez Ellis McKinney of Rincon, Georgia, born in Branchville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Ellis and Lula Ellis (Pettit); her husband William Irvin McKinney; and her daughter Edna Gnann. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Beverly Hill (Steve), Russell and Gnann (George); and her great grandchildren, Corbin and Cameron Hill. She is also survived by two great-great grandsons, and several nieces, nephews.
