He is survived by: his wife Betty Watts of Rincon; his children, Glenda Kersey (David) of Baxley and John Mitchum (Pam) of Brooklet; his sister Eva Poole; and his grandchildren, Joey Mitchum (Amy), Jessica McLellan (Justin), Kasi Meeks (Bo) and Sheena Miller (Brent). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
