He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Ridley and Ruth Ridley; and his brother-in-law Roy New. He is survived by: his spouse Dale Ridley; his son James Seth Ridley, II; his siblings, Linda New and Jerry Ridley (Mary Faye); and his brother-in-law Marty Massey (Dianne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
