He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Leon Cook and Minnie Moore Cook. He is survived by: his wife Dot Cook; his children, Sharon Cook Johnson (Donnie) and Randy Cook (Melanie); and his grandchildren, Lindsay McFarland (Todd), Kelli L. Brown, Jenni R. Gay, Andrew Cook (Shelby), Austin Roach, Aaron Cook (Halli), Alex Cook (Stephanie), Austin Cook (Hailey), Garrett Cook (Hailee), Carson Cook and Drake Cook. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
