She is survived by: her children, Shannon Carter (Stephanie) and Angela Jackson; her daughter-in-law Cindy Carter; her grandchildren, Christen Carter Sherrod, Cole Carter (Leah), Caleb Carter, Julia Carter, Maddie Carter, Grace Jackson and Marque Jackson; her great grandchildren, Adeline Sherrod, Liam Carter, Collins Carter and Stetson Sherrod; and her sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Cribbs (Terry), Debra Polk (Donnie) and Rose Fail "Romy" (Ronnie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
