He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chapman and Retha Locke Chapman; and his siblings, Carnell, Roy, Carey, Earl, Chuckie, Jackie, Norman and Betty Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Chapman; his children, Deann Jarman (Greg) and Robby Chapman (Faith); his grandchildren, Allen Jarman (Brittany), Evan Jarman, Lauren Collum, Chase Chapman and Adelyn Chapman; his great grandchildren, Harper, Colton, Colby, Karina and Eden; and his siblings, Jerry Chapman, Denny Chapman (Nell) and Patricia Mardula. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the American Kidney Fund.
