He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Owens Jr. and Corine Hinely Owens; and his former wife Shirlene Youmans Owens. He is survived by: his son Kevin Larry Owens; his daughter-in-law Sheri-Lyn Blewett Owens; his granddaughter Sydney Lyn Owens of Rincon; his wife Linda Youngblood Owens; his stepchildren, Melonie Kolgaklis (Chris) and Craig Youngblood (Yvette); his sister Marjorie Owens White; and his brother-in-law Bruce White Jr.. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Rincon (201 E 6th St, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
