He was predeceased by: his father Derick Allen Hughes; and his grandfather Collie Ray Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Michele Hughes; his children, Stephen Christopher Hughes (Kyanna) and Laura Jane Hughes; his mother Marion Elizabeth Shiver Aughtman "Betty"; his sisters, Mary Hughes Walker, Lisa Shiver Denham and Susie Mosley; and his uncles, Marcus Hughes and Robert Hughes. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
