She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Edwards and Edell Edwards; her son James Cristopher Tillman, Sr.; and her brother Louis Edwards. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ahna T. Sampson (Rick Sampson) of Savannah and James Cristopher Tillman, Jr. of Port Wentworth; and her siblings, Tarver Lee "Tootsie" Edwards (Carolyn) of Guyton and Louise B. Noble of Claxton. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
