She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bennett and Hazel Bennett; and her sisters, Betty Smith and Ruth Fields. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Bennett (Glenda), Rev. Mikell Bennett (Karen), Charles Bennett and Janice Helmey (Jimmy); and her siblings' children, Jamie Willoughby, Candi English, Kimberly Bennett, Billy Fields and Kevin Bennett.
