She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Taylor and I. V. Taylor; her brothers, Raymond Taylor, James Taylor and Clarence Taylor; her daughter Cynthia Spates; her grandson Shane Phillips; and her friend Luther Spates.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Ross; her siblings, Violet Gray, Shirley Morris, Brenda Henson, Ruby Thomas and Roy Gene Taylor; her son Jimmy Stanley; her grandchildren, Brandon Spates, Ranee Spates and Donielle Lowery; and her great grandchildren, Shelby Spates, Khloe Miller, Kelsey Lowe, Schiley Folks and Hannah Rae.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
