It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Edward Kirkland of Ringgold, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincey Kirkland and Wannie Adams Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Cherry Kirkland; his sons, Tony Kirkland, Jr. (Melissa) and Larry David Joiner (Sara); and his grandchildren, Trey Kirkland III, Isabella Kirkland, Lily Kirkland, Jack Joiner, Sam Joiner and Luke Joiner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Chapter 203 of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
