She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Hicks and Estelle Hicks Miller; her husband Robert L. Bowling; and her grandchildren, Rob Bowling and Stephanie Rood.
She is survived by: her children, Shelva Matthews, Bonnie Grissinger (Doug), Stanley Earl Bowling (Donna) and Terry Lee Bowling; her grandchildren, Terry Eugene Matthews, Timmy Lee Matthews, Kristy Michelle Capehart, Michael Matthews, Steven LaFerry, Michael Bowling, Juanita Silvers and Terry Leon Bowling; her cousins, David Battles and Wanda Tinker; and her friend Montana Jones. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
