He is survived by: his parents, Eddie Helmes and Shannon Helmes; his sisters, Sherry Helmes and Angela Helmes; his grandparents, Eddie and Mary Gilliam; his nephews, Nathan Lyons, Jason Lyons and Dustin Hughes; and his aunts and uncles, Bobby Cantrell, Arlo Gilliam, Marcie Gilliam Patzer, James, Mary Helmes, Scott, Melissa Helmes and William Helmes. He is also survived by several cousins, and a host of friends.
