She is survived by: her parents, William Kost and Janet Kost; her husband Craig Shaw of Ringgold, GA; her children, Megan Brown (Brandon Brown) of Blairsville, GA and Michael Shaw (Lauren Shaw) of Ringgold, GA; her grandchildren, Tucker Brown, Haley Shaw and William Shaw; and her sister Sharon Winters.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
