Charles William Stanley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles William Stanley of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Charles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Charles. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Stanley; his daughter Terri Ann Stanley; his parents, William G. Stanley and Dorothy V. Stanley; and his sisters, Betty Gilly and Alice Williams.

He is survived by: his sister Ann Childers. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews, and twenty-six great great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Christ's Chapel Share and Care Mission.
