She is survived by: her husband James Arvil Dempsey; her children, Debra Head (Terry), Rita Lemons (Steve), Curtis Dempsey (Kim) and Tina Gent (Greg); and her siblings, Barbara Brinkley, Suzette Chambers, Alvin Worley and David Worley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
