We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025, David Oliver Hanon of Ringgold, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hanon; his children, David Kristian, Letha Renee, Derrick Oliver and Bradley Dwayne; and his grandchildren, McKenzie Renee, Jonas Garcia, Addison Renee, Chase Oliver and Levi Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Barnard Astronomical Society of Chattanooga (https://www.barnardastronomy.org), in honor of David's lifelong passion for the stars and his enduring desire to inspire the next generation of stargazers and explorers.
