He was predeceased by: his wife Jeneece Nance; his son Philip Nance; his parents, Lloyd Nance and Bessie Silvey Nance; and his brother Donald P. Nance.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Nance and Cindy Johnson (Tom Grant); and his grandchildren, Michael Nance (Rebekah), Brad Nance (Becky), Steven Nance (Jamie), Joseph Nance, Julie Nance, Nathan Johnson and Emily Salter (Dustin). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis-Stewart Chapel (443 Boynton Dr, Ringgold, GA 30736). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
