He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul, Shelda Ricketts Millsaps, John and Johnnie Mae Moore; his parents, James Clifford and Reba Millsaps Moore; and his siblings, Keith Alan Moore and Teresa Lynn Moore (Davidson).

He is survived by: his wife Anita Gail Moore (Wofford); his daughter Lori Moore Carson (Matthew); his granddaughter Gabriella Carson; and his siblings, Kenny Brewer (Pam) and Jimmie Scarborough Moore (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
