It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Jennings Forney of Ringgold, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mose Jennings and Lizzie Mae Smith Jennings; her siblings, Nellie Freeman, Mozzell Freeman, Ruby Stroud and Mose "Jake" Jennings; and her sons, Roger Harris and DeWayne Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Ozzie Lee Harris (Christine) and Ira Reid; her siblings, Lula Mae Madden and Jerry Jennings; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Harris; and her close friend Elizabeth Warthan. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
