He was predeceased by : his parents, George Usher and Marietta Delk Usher; his wife DeLoris Harp Usher; and his brothers, Gordon Usher and James Usher.

He is survived by : his children, John Steven Usher (Lorie) and Cynthia "Cyndi" Chambers (Terry); his brother Richard Usher (Debbie); his grandchildren, Evan Bidwell, Loren Usher, Grant Usher, Kinsey Chambers and Kalyn Chambers; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Haight (George), Vickie Russell (Greg), Robbie Usher (Pam) and Richie Usher. He is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.
