He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ledford and Armetta Gay Ledford. He is survived by: his wife Frances Bennett Ledford; his children, Kaye Webster, Brian Ledford (Sheila), Charles Nicholson (Sonja) and Kevin Ledford; his grandchildren, Heather Melton (Chad), Cole Webster (Joanie), Kenny Nicholson, Kellie Nicholson, Alexis Eaker (Steve) and Katlin Hilliard (Drew); his great grandchildren, Hadleigh and Aikley Cronic; and his daughter Tawana Thornton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home (1402 N Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitfield Memorial Gardens (710 W Cuyler St, Dalton, GA 30720).
