With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Sue Walker Harbour of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Joy Sue Walker find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Harbour; her parents, Virgil L. Walker and Laura Mae Walker; and her brothers, Larry Walker, David Walker, Richard Walker and Kenneth Walker.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Holcomb (Tina) of Trion, GA; her sisters, Lynda Dyer (Ron) of Ringgold, GA and Judy Shaffer (Dan) of Collegedale, TN; and her granddaughter Tiffany Holcomb. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Cross Connection Church in Chickamauga, Georgia and St. Jude Children's Hospital, both of which she greatly supported.
