She was predeceased by: her husband R. V. Wells, Jr.; her parents, John Elrod and Christine Elrod; her siblings, Ann, Francis, Clenys, Bill and Joe; her daughter-in-law Dr. Carol Brand; and her great grandchild Lennon.
She is survived by: her children, Vic Wells, Cindy Wengert, Steve Wells (Mary), Marynia Myers (Herb) and Dixie Wells; and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Julia Castleberry, Boone, Van Wells, Brennan, Emerson Harrison, Baker Wengert, Luke, Brady Raub, Austin, Sarah Kate Green, Theo-Sydney-Esther Saul and Perry-Parker Igou.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the children and youth ministries of Mission Glen Baptist Church in Rossville.
