With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Leon Cagle of Ringgold, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Cagle and Edna Clara Goins; and his sister-in-law Maureen Goins. He is survived by: his wife Christy Cagle; his children, Michelle Fentress (Bill) of Bethlehem, Terri O'Neal (Mike) of Cohutta and Zach Patterson (Sierra Holcomb) of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; his siblings, Terry Goins of North Carolina, Ray Goins (Melanie) of Red Bank, Tennessee and Dianne Punch (Bob) of Rock Spring, Georgia; his grandchildren, Cristen Stewart (Alex), Hunter O'Neal (Lauren), Billy Fentress and Colt Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Mason, David, Emma and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
