It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Merriman of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon Merriman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford Merriman and Genita Merriman; and his sister Barbara Jackson. He is survived by: his pet Cooper; his wife Linda Merriman; his children, Shane Merriman and Angela Merriman; his siblings, Richard Merriman (Becky) and Paulette Steele (Ron); his stepsister Debbie; and his grandchildren, Dravon, Brendan and Breanna Merriman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
