Linda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Linda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stubblefield and Velma Magill Stubblefield; her son David Douglas Nofsinger; and her brother Willard Stubblefield. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Nofsinger; her children, Michael Nofsinger, Amy Gibson and Cheri Davis; and her brother Lonnie Stubblefield. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Anderson Memorial Gardens (112 Christian Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736).
