She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Petty (Red); her children, Marvin David Petty, Jean Tyrrell, James Petty and Julia Parker; and her siblings, Margaret Petty, Mae Willoughby, Edgar Maroon, Carl Maroon and Ralph Maroon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Pierce (Charles) of Ringgold, Patricia Black (Jackey) of Ringgold and Dianne Poteet (Nelan) of Ringgold; and her brother E. Russell Maroon, Jr. (Brenda). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.
