She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Lorene "Mickey" Hettie John Lucas; her husband William Atkinson; and her brother James Lucas. She is survived by: her children, John Brian Remler, Mickey Jean Wright (Tim) and Sister Donna Jean Sheeley; and her brother William Joseph Lucas. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Rossville, GA 30741). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Rossville, GA 30741).
