He was predeceased by : his parents, William Dean and Ellen Coots Dean. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Arlene McDaniel Dean of Ringgold, GA.; his children, Wanda Gail VanFossen (Larry), Dianne Dyer, David Lebron Dean (Renee), Daniel Dean (Geneva) and William Scott Dean (Mae); and his stepchildren, Sherri Brown, Janet Rhodes, Brenda Taylor (Robbie) and Leonard Nathan Rhodes (Connie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
