It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin McConathy of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin McConathy to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford McConathy (Jack Bean) and Louise McConathy; his former life partner Jerry Sue; his sister Linda Knight (Jack); his mother-in-law Virginia Griffith; and his brother-in-law Wayne Griffith.

He is survived by : his wife Marsha McConathy of Ringgold, GA; his sister Annie Goodson (Joe Goodson) of Chickamauga, GA; his children, David McConathy of Montana, Alma Goodman (John) of Graysville, TN and Virginia Brown of Dayton, TN; and his nieces, Donna Lynn Abercrombie (Matthew), Kimberly Ann Wingo (Greg) and Jackie Flowers (Bill). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
