He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gaston and Bertha Vaughn Gaston; his daughter Denise Fisher; and his siblings, Robert Gaston, Burton Gaston and Jean Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gaston; his brother Fred Gaston (Joyce); his granddaughters, Ashley Williams and Randi Fisher; his sibling's children, Rosemary Sloan (Curtis), John (Julia), Tom (Terrie) and Andrew (Becky); and his extended family, Blake Gaston (Starr, family: Tab Barrow) and Ron Barrow (Gina, family: Scott Ridley, Butch Simpson).
