He is survived by: his son Jonathan Hector Potts; his daughter-in-law Ashley Empel Potts; his grandchildren, Adler Elizabeth Potts and Maddux Parker Potts; his sister-in-law Sara Anne Potts; his nieces, Carolyn Potts Crouch, Lynne Potts Shaw and Tracy Potts Rampley (Rick); his close friend Martha Brewer Wagner; Jones Cousins and Linda Jackson Potts. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
