He is survived by: his wife Barbara "BJ" Miller Johnson; his son Rodney; his daughter-in-law Becca Johnson; and his grandsons, Corbin Johnson and Gavin Johnson. He is also survived by extended family The Thompsons and several nieces and nephews.
