He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton P. Taylor II and Evelyn Lord Taylor; and his brother Walton P. Taylor III. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn H. Taylor; his children, Lisa Bradford (Mark) and Richard W. Taylor, Jr. (Katherine); and his grandchildren, Logan Bradford, Nicholas Taylor, Olivia Taylor and Whitney Horne (Henry). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ringgold United Methodist Church (7484 Nashville St, Ringgold, GA 30736). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ringgold United Methodist Church.
