With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Chalmers of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sandra departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sandra. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Drew Chalmers and Marion Young Chalmers. She is survived by: her siblings, Susan Steele (Rick) and Scott Chalmers (Anna); her uncle Joe Young (Loraine); her aunt Martha Carruth; her nephews, Allen Steele and Cody Chalmers; and her niece Kathryn Wood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis-Stewart Chapel (443 Boynton Dr, Ringgold, GA 30736). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Gardens (112 Christian Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Christ Chapel Share and Care Mission in Ringgold, Georgia, (223 Inman St, Ringgold, GA 30736).
