We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2022, at the age of 76, Sara Joyce Birt of Ringgold, Georgia, born in Hoschton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Ray Birt; her husband Bob Herndon; her parents, L. C. Brock and Doris Duncan (James); and her son Mitchell Birt.

She is survived by: her children, Christy Austin (Thomas), Vicky Brown, Lisa Herndon, Ricky Herndon (Debbie), Bobby Herndon (Jenny) and Sharon Herndon (Eric). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous friends and extended family.
